CREATIVE TEAM

Kyle Mazer (Book/Lyrics/Music) is a playwright, composer and stand-up comic from New Jersey living in New York. He graduated from Yale University as the recipient of the T. Whitney Blake Prize after majoring in English and writing two musicals and two award-winning plays, each of which were produced by the Think Theater Project at the Cranford Public Library. 

Carly Mazer (Book/Lyrics) is an Actor, Writer, and Teaching Artist based in New York City. She is obsessed with storytelling in all forms! You can see her on stage as part of 92NY's TYA Company, and hear her voice in audiobooks, musical demos, and more. She is also the co-creator of the 88th Annual Waa Mu Show: For the Record. Freyja Goldstein (Director) is an actor/director based in NY and Chicago.  Recent directing credits include Alone with American Music Theatre Project.  Recent acting: Once Upon a Mattress at Theo Ubique (Swing), The Little Mermaid at the John W. Engeman Theatre (Ursula) and Sweeney Todd at Northwestern University (Mrs. Lovett). Northwestern University grad.  She can be seen currently as the ghost of Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol at the Long Island Children’s Museum. Mel Albert (Choreographer) is honored to make her NYC choreography debut with this incredible new musical! She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Tulane University, and during that time produced and choreographed a student-run production of Little Shop of Horrors, taught dance classes in local schools, and performed in numerous musicals on campus along with benefits/events for local performing arts associations including Le Petit Theatre, Summer Lyric Theatre, and The New Orleans Opera Association.

Camila Grunberg (Assistant Choreographer) is so happy to be a part of S.S. Cancelled! She is currently a student at Barnard College of Columbia University pursuing a BA in Educational Studies. Some past credits include Emergent TheatreWorks: The Clockmaker's Daughter (Choreographer), Columbia University: A Very Potter Musical (Co-Choreographer), and Columbia University: Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (Assistant Choreographer).
